BSc (Hons) Architectural Technology

From a young age, I have always been interested in design and creativity.

Since I knew how to use a pencil and paper, I have been drawing, designing and being creative. I initially wanted to be an Automotive designer, although this was when I was only very young. By time I got to high school I knew I wanted to design buildings and be involved in the architecture industry.

I began studying Architectural Technology at Robert Gordon University in 2011. During my third year, I began my Industrial Placement with Aberdeen based practice Tinto Architecture Ltd in 2014. Over the two years I worked there, I developed a great amount of experience from a wide variety of different projects from small domestic extensions to commercial offices.

I graduated from Architectural Technology with a BSc and a (Hons) in 2015. In the same year I was accepted to do my Part 1 in Architecture.

In my spare time, I play in a band as the bass guitarist. I also write most of the music for our band. This allows me to be productive and creative in my spare time. It helps me relax and unwind, it is one of the most enjoyable activities I have in my life.
